Ronnie Cummins and Dr. Mercola’s book, The Truth About COVID-19, with a Foreword by Robert F. Kennedy Jr, was released at the end of April.
It has now been ranked as number 1 or 2 on the Amazon list of national best-sellers for the past three weeks, with over 250,000 copies sold.
All this despite an absence of book reviews by the mass media and a concerted effort by bookstore chains to keep the book a secret.
A former U.S. government scientist testifying in the fourth Roundup cancer trial to be held in the United States told a California jury this week that multiple research studies conducted over many years show an “almost certain” connection between Monsanto glyphosate-based herbicides and cancer.
His testimony, in conjunction with another court ruling (that Monsanto failed to warn the public of cancer risks) has rattled Monsanto/Bayer and its stockholders, setting the corporation up for billions of dollars in additional liability.
Monsanto/Bayer lost another appeals court decision in the sweeping U.S. Roundup litigation, continuing to struggle to find a way out from under the crush of tens of thousands of claims alleging that Monsanto’s glyphosate-based herbicides cause cancer.
In a decision handed down recently, the 1st Appellate District in the Court of Appeal for California court states:
“We find that substantial evidence supports the jury’s verdicts. Monsanto’s conduct evidenced reckless disregard of the health and safety of the multitude of unsuspecting consumers it kept in the dark. This was not an isolated incident; Monsanto’s conduct involved repeated actions over a period of many years motivated by the desire for sales and profit.”
Mongabay magazine writer, Sue Branford reports:
“In Mexico, a university-educated, small-scale peasant farmer came up with an untried innovative solution that not only restores degraded land to productivity, but also greatly enhances soil carbon storage, provides a valuable new crop, and even offers a hopeful diet for diabetics. The process utilizes two plants commonly found on semiarid lands that grow well under drought conditions: agave and mesquite. The two are intercropped and then the agave is fermented and mixed with the mesquite to produce an excellent, inexpensive, and very marketable fodder for grazing animals.”
Branford quotes OCA’s Ronnie Cummins, a co-director of the Mexico-based Billion Agave Project:
“We think agroforestry is at the cutting edge for agriculture regeneration. About 40% of the world’s terrain is arid or semiarid and different varieties of agave and nitrogen-fixing native trees are already growing in half of these areas. The possibilities are immense.”

While the scientific community scurries to find solutions to treating this newly emergent virus, such as a COVID-19 vaccine, the elephant in the room to be addressed is why is the U.S. surging in the number of cases while many other countries have leveled off or are declining in numbers?
One likely reason is because the collective microbiome or gut health (which directly affects the strength of our immune system) in the U.S. is so poor.
And why is our gut health so poor? U.S. consumers, on the whole, likely ingest more of Monsanto/Bayer’s glyphosate-contaminated food and water than any other nation in the world.
Glyphosate decreases beneficial bacteria while assisting the growth of pathogens such as clostridial species. Considering the fact that the average daily diet of most Americans is abundant in glyphosate as well as other pesticides and nutrient deficient (from soil depletion), one can appreciate that chronic dosing of glyphosate will result in an underperforming immune system which is unable to meet the challenges of modern day infections.

In its September 2019 report, shortly before the COVID-19 outbreak, the Global Preparedness Monitoring Board — a joint arm of the World Health Organization and the World Bank — warned that technological advances “allow for disease-creating micro-organisms to be engineered or recreated in laboratories,” and that the release of such organisms could cause greater devastation than a natural outbreak.
According to the board, accidental release of such manmade organisms could actually be far more devastating than a natural outbreak. “Accidental or deliberate events caused by high-impact respiratory pathogens pose global catastrophic biological risks,” the board stated in its September 2019 report, titled “A World At Risk.”
In passing, the report also mentioned the need to control the flow of information: “A deliberate release would complicate outbreak response; in addition to the need to decide how to counter the pathogen, security measures would come into play limiting information-sharing and fomenting social divisions.”

It’s time to stop the microbe madness of engineering and weaponizing viruses, bacteria, insects, and micro-organisms.
The Chinese military and the Pentagon, aided and abetted by Silicon Valley, Big Pharma, and the global economic elite, want us to believe that so-called “dual use” (military and medical) “Gain-of-Function” experiments, now being carried out across the world, giving rise to global epidemics such as Lyme Disease and COVID-19, and deliberate releases such as the 2001 Anthrax attacks, are legal, safe, and necessary. The myth that reckless dual-use science can be carried out safely is a criminal lie with now obvious catastrophic consequences.
It’s time to put human survival ahead of partisan politics, Big Pharma profiteering, and the ongoing superpower biological weapons arms race. It’s time to “bullet proof” the 1972 Biological Weapons Convention and close the loopholes that have allowed bioweapon engineering to be carried out under the guise of bio-defense or bio-medical research. It’s time to implement mandatory global inspections (like we basically have for nuclear weapons), and mandatory, draconian penalties for violations. Otherwise the next pandemic, whether deliberately or accidentally-released, could put an end to us all.
The United States suffered through two lethal waves of contagion in the past year and a half. The first was a viral pandemic that killed about one in 500 Americans—typically, a person over 75 suffering from other serious conditions. The second, and far more catastrophic, was a moral panic that swept the nation’s guiding institutions.
Instead of keeping calm and carrying on, the American elite flouted the norms of governance, journalism, academic freedom—and, worst of all, science. They misled the public about the origins of the virus and the true risk that it posed. Ignoring their own carefully prepared plans for a pandemic, they claimed unprecedented powers to impose untested strategies, with terrible collateral damage. As evidence of their mistakes mounted, they stifled debate by vilifying dissenters, censoring criticism, and suppressing scientific research.
If, as seems increasingly plausible, the coronavirus that causes Covid-19 leaked out of a laboratory in Wuhan, it is the costliest blunder ever committed by scientists. Whatever the pandemic’s origin, the response to it is the worst mistake in the history of the public-health profession. We still have no convincing evidence that the lockdowns saved lives, but lots of evidence that they have already cost lives and will prove deadlier in the long run than the virus itself.
