WEST CHESTER, Ohio — If you don’t want the hassle of growing vegetables in your own back yard, you can cash in on a farming co-op.

Members pay $500 for about six months’ worth of harvest from Gravel Knolls Farm, located off Union Center Boulevard in West Chester.

“We got certified organic in 1989, and started just kind of growing and the demand kept growing, and now we’re up to 14 to 15 acres of vegetables,” said Jim Rosselot, whose family has farmed Gravel Knolls for three generations.
