I hardly need to remind you that 2020 was one hell of a year. Since COVID-19 first emerged in Wuhan, China in November of 2019, the SARS-CoV-2 virus has moved like a tidal wave across the globe, spawning fear and confusion, routinely prompting hasty and drastic government action, based mainly upon shoddy science, manipulated statistics, and Big Pharma disinformation

This so-called “Great Reset” has severely disrupted our everyday lives, curtailed our most basic civil liberties, and destroyed the economic livelihoods and future prospects of hundreds of millions of people, especially small businesses, workers, family farmers, students, and low-income communities. 

While Amazon, Walmart, and the billionaire class have increased their wealth and power, like never before the needs of the underclass and the powerless have largely been forgotten. 

One of the major driving forces fomenting widespread anxiety and fear have been the Internet Giants and the mass media, heavily invested in and dependent upon Big Pharma and multinational corporate advertising. 

Even before COVID-19 took over the headlines 24/7, the mass media focused on the latest tweets and antics of Donald Trump and pretended that a return to “business as usual” under Joe Biden would solve all of our problems.

Here’s what I wrote right after the election. Thus far neither the conservative nor the so-called liberal or progressive media seem to be paying much attention to what the Organic Consumers Association and our national network of supporters have been saying throughout the year, and in fact what we’ve been saying for over two decades.
