Bayer, the parent company of Monsanto, has settled over 114,000 lawsuits from people who allege they developed non-Hodgkin lymphoma after using glyphosate-based herbicides such as Roundup. But the legal battles aren’t over: a Georgia jury recently awarded $2 billion to a cancer patient who claimed Roundup was to blame and Bayer is pushing the US Supreme Court to help it block further lawsuits.
