This is not another film about litter on beaches. It is a forensic investigation into what plastic and its chemicals are doing to human health – from hormone disruption and infertility to cancer, heart disease and stroke. The invisible crisis, made visible.
When six couples remove plastic from their homes, they uncover something far bigger than clutter. They confront a system that has flooded our food, air and bloodstreams with more than 16,000 fossil-fuel based chemicals, thousands already linked to harm, too many still unregulated.
