In the interview below, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Naomi Wolf, both long-time champions of progressive, human rights, and environmental causes, discuss how most of their liberal and progressive friends and former allies have become completely close-minded, fearful, and dogmatic about the origins, nature, virulence, prevention, and treatment of COVID-19. 

While Republicans (Nixon, Reagan, Bush, Cheney) routinely suppressed constitutional rights and waged war on anti-war and anti-racist activists and organizations in the 1960s-70s, and then rammed through the Patriot Act in the War on Terror panic mongering following 9/11 and the Anthrax attacks of 2001, now it is Democrats and liberals, allied with Silicon Valley, Big Pharma, Bill Gates, and the globalist elite of the World Economic Forum, who are leading the charge toward authoritarianism. 

These liberals and progressives have slandered and defamed those of us as “conspiracy theorists,” who question the official story surrounding COVID-19 and the mounting collateral damage of lockdowns, school closures, and Warp Speed experimental drugs and gene therapy. 

Abandoning their traditional skepticism and opposition to Big Pharma, Big Data, Big Media, Big Science, the military industrial complex, government spying, billionaire tycoons, and corporate propaganda, most of America’s liberals and progressives have become 21st Century cheerleaders for media censorship, suspension of civil liberties, elimination of due process, freedom of assembly, travel restrictions, lockdowns, vaccine passports, and school and business closures. 

Meanwhile the billionaires and elite proponents of a Great Reset are consolidating their wealth and power by taking advantage of economic meltdown resulting from emergency decrees and dictates in the US and across the world. Naomi Wolf aptly describes this phenomenon, from Communist China to Main Street USA, as biofascism.

• Arbitrary restrictions are being put in place by those abusing emergency powers at local, state and federal levels. 

•  In a free society, points are made and arguments won through free speech and open debate rather than censoring opinions that differ from ours. 

•  Authoritarianism has no place in medicine although most liberals are accepting edicts promoted by Dr. Fauci and Bill Gates. 

•  Direct-to-consumer advertising that started in 1997 marked the beginning of Pharma’s takeover of American media.

We are entering the Post-COVID world. And the role of liberals and progressives (as well as libertarians and champions of constitutional rights) is far more significant now than we realize. COVID-19 has brought on many changes in society. As COVID numbers diminish, there is a renewed euphoria in progressive circles in the wake of the pandemic concomitant with a Democrat presidential victory and an unprecedented awareness of gender and racial inequalities.

While there is much to be excited about for progressives, warning flags have appeared that raise questions about whether our future direction is genuinely one of greater equality.

The COVID pandemic has shown all of us the power of government public health institutions in mobilizing and transforming society to deal with a pandemic threat. Yet, at the same time, public health policy, supported by the overwhelming majority of progressives, has become a paternalist force that has used its authority to control, manipulate, and divide the body politic, marginalizing or censoring public voices—investigative, scientific, and medical—that deviate from the “official story” of COVID-19.

For years, OCA and our sister organization, Regeneration International, have used the term “Biodemocracy” to describe our goal of having consumers, farmers, and grassroots alliances—rather than corporations and special interests—democratically control the institutions and policies that impact our food, farming, environment, climate, and health. Before we changed the name of this newsletter to Organic Bytes in 1998, we called it “Biodemocracy News.” 

Over the years we have identified Monsanto, Bill Gates, corporate agribusiness, Big Food, Big Technology, Big Pharma and others as the “Biotechnocrats” that stand in our way and threaten the health and welfare of our planet. 

For decades these Biotechnocrats, both Democrats and Republicans, have sought to dominate and control our public policies, food choices, and foreign policy. They rely upon indentured scientists and media to support their public image as they play God and biological Russian Roulette by genetically engineering food, crops, viruses, bacteria, and vaccines; and by building bioweapons—essentially GMO, nano-sized, synbio weapons of mass destruction. 

We never used the word “Biofascism” to describe our political system up until now, feeling this would have been hyperbolic, since the word fascism traditionally has meant, as defined by Mussolini, Hitler, Franco and others, total control and domination by Big Government and Big Business, institutionalized suppression of dissent and civil liberties, media censorship, constant government and media panic-mongering, and 24/7 surveillance. 

Starting today, however, we feel that it’s appropriate to begin to use the term “Biofascism,” popularized recently by noted political scientist and author Naomi Wolf.

Emperor Gates has a new decree: “All rich countries should move to 100% synthetic beef.”

Bill Gates has invested in Impossible Foods whose CEO, Pat Brown, says his genetically engineered synthetic meat substitutes will replace the use of animals by 2035.

You’d think Impossible Foods would focus on the horrors of factory farming. Instead, Gates and Brown take aim at regenerative organic agriculture and grass-fed beef. According to Fortune.com: 

“Gates and Brown believe that genetically modified seeds and chemical herbicides, in the right doses––and not land-intensive organic farming––are crucial to curbing carbon emissions.”

That old lie about organic farming has been thoroughly debunked, and real climate activists know “It’s not the cow, it’s the how.” 

But our best argument is what everyone instinctively knows, even before they learn the science: Genetically modified and synthetic Frankenfoods like the Impossible Burger aren’t good for us.
