OCA Weekly 3 (Week 7)
May 14, 2025 | by Organic Consumers Association
OCA’s Weekly 3 offers three simple, impactful actions each week to drive change in environmental policy, sustainable agriculture, and personal health. These actions are designed to raise awareness, influence decision-makers, and create lasting change. We’ve already seen significant victories, but real change happens through collective action. By committing to just three actions each week, you become part of a movement for a healthier planet and a more just food system. Together, we can make an even bigger difference!
1. Take Action: Pick an Action!
Join the OCA in taking action on the most urgent issues facing our food, health, and environment. Visit our Take Action page to find our latest campaigns—and add your name to the causes that matter most. Together, we can push back against corporate greed, protect our planet, and build a regenerative future.
2. Personal Health: Toxin-Free Spring Cleaning
Spring is the perfect time to detox your home—and it starts with what you clean with. Ditch the harsh chemicals and make your own non-toxic all-purpose cleaner that’s safe for your health and the environment. It’s simple, effective, and a great first step toward a cleaner, healthier home.
3. Environment: Say No to Pesticides – At Home and at Costco!
Pesticides like Roundup are one of the leading contributors to soil degradation, water contamination, biodiversity loss, and long-term harm to human and environmental health.
Last week we shared that Costco is selling a Roundup a formula that’s up to 45 times more toxic than before.
Make the commitment to keep pesticides out of your garden and urge Costco to stop selling toxic herbicides entirely. Be part of the movement for a healthier, more sustainable future!
