MOM’s Organic Market is opening next month in Prince William Square at the corner of Smoketown and Gideon roads.
The organic grocer with 12 stores in Maryland, Pennsylvania, D.C. and Virginia, will occupy 12,000 square feet in the shopping center across from Potomac Mills mall.
The store’s founder, Scott Nash, started the company (then called Organic Foods Express) in 1987 as a delivery service operating out of his mother’s basement, according to a news release from Rosenathal Properties, which manages Prince William Square.
The family-owned grocer also plans to open a location in Arlington this year in the Verde Pointe development. There are currently stores in Herndon, Alexandria and Merrifield.
