Food Author Beth Dooley Comes to Northern Minnesota this week!

Award winning cook book author Beth Dooley is coming to the North Shore this week. 

Beth Dooley’s new book In Winter’s Kitchen demonstrates that even in a place with a short growing season, food grown locally and organically can be healthy, community-based, environmentally conscious, and—most of all—delicious

As a part of her Farm to Fork tour of Minnesota, the author will be stopping in Finland and Grand Marais for a conversation about the local food scene and food history unique to Minnesota.

You can catch her on Friday Oct 6th at the Finland Community Center at 7pm. 

Local and organic refreshments will be provided by the Organic Consumers Associaiton and Friends of the Finland Community. 

The event is free so invite your friends!

Then, on Saturday Oct 7th you can catch Beth Dooley at Drury Lane Books at 7 p.m. in Grand Marais.

Sunday Oct 8th Zenith Book Store in Duluth at 2pm and Monday Oct 9th at College of St. Benedict in St. Cloud at 7pm
