Citing unexpected logistical challenges, the organizers of the SafeLawns & Landscapes Seminars planned for New York City and Philadelphia have elected to postpone the events until further notice.

“We just learned this week that several of our presenters have personal or professional conflicts that will keep them from appearing at one or both locations,” said Paul Tukey, the spokesperson for SafeLawns.org, the national non-profit organization that provides organic lawn care education for homeowners and professionals. “With the pool of qualified organic land care professionals so limited, it is impossible to find replacement speakers on such short notice, so we have no choice but to reschedule – probably in the spring of 2008. It is our goal to provide the highest quality presentations; we’ll begin looking for dates in the future to make that happen.”

The SafeLawns & Landscapes Seminar planned for Washington, D.C., on Oct. 19-20 will go on as planned. For details, visit SafeLawns.org. Anyone who pre-registered for the events in New York and Pennsylvania will be mailed a full refund.
