WASHINGTON (AP) – The US House of Representatives is expected to vote today on a bill that contains major funding to clean up the Chesapeake Bay.
Several amendments aimed at reducing crop subsidies that could have scuttled the bill were defeated yesterday, setting the stage for the final vote.
