  The Old Cedar Post is a family run small business located near the beautiful Texas Hill Country town of New Braunfels and utilizes 100%Texas Hill Country Cedar (ashe juniper) in all of its custom furniture and furnishing creations. Ashe Juniper has been studied by Texas A&M University and found to have a profound impact on the environment because of this tree’s natural canopy impeding water flow from entering the Edwards Aquifer. By using these ashe juniper logs and milling them on our sawmill we save these logs from being thrown into burn piles and burned. Ashe juniper is by nature a very strong durable wood with a high oil content and uniqueness of wood grain and character which produces gorgeous one-of-a-kind functional keepsakes. Our products include but are not limited to the following furniture: bedroom, living room, outdoor, bar/entertainment, kitchen, poolside, sun room, and pet. We offer furniture design at no cost, and custom build furniture to our customer’s specific height, weight, and medical requirements.
