  I bring experience in doula assisted natural childbirth to the birth of your child as a DONA certified doula CD(DONA). We work together to determine the kind of birth you and your partner want to have. Your hopes and wishes are addressed as well as any concerns and anxieties you feel. As your doula, I would assist you in: breathing and relaxation; massage; different positions to facilitate labor progress; accupressure; the use of heat and cold including water births; laboring down; and visualization. Most of all I encourage you to trust your body in the safe and caring atmosphere we create for your labor and birth. I am also experienced in assisting with breast feeding and have my CLC certification(Certified Lactation Consultant). I have been trained as a Postpartum Doula as well, and occasionally care for my Birth Clients after their baby's birth.
