  At Sierra Childbirth Institute we believe that every woman deserves a doula. We are fully committed to supporting all birthing women, irrespective of their choices and to assist them in having a safe, empowering, memorable birth and postpartum experience. Our mission in our training program is to provide exceptional DONA International training for doulas of varied cultures, educational backgrounds, ethnic backgrounds and socio-economic levels. At SCI we provide education and support services to pregnant women and their families, offering private and group childbirth education classes; birth and postpartum doula services; breastfeeding education and support; Life Coaching and Counseling services to women, couples and childbirth professionals; and Birth & Postpartum Doula certification training workshops (DONA International certification).
