  A creative and functional application of the art of recycling Introducing, a collection of handcrafted, eco-friendly paper-mache mirrors and picture frames. The work is designed with: 1) Attractive multicolored World maps. Richly illustrated depicting international boundaries, country, capital, island and town names. 2) “Emerging Nation,” a reproduction of a United States historical map published in 1783. 3)A bonanza of World stamps! Among the themes represented in this incredible mix: animals, insects, flowers, technology and science. 4) A vibrant assortment of colored paper and creatively hand painted. A "History and Intent" statement, Signed and Dated is adhered to the back of each piece. The earth friendly, papier-mache is made from post consumer waste/discarded newspapers, magazines and telelphone directories. With the world stamps I have designed a small line of note cards. The paper used is made from post consumer waste while the stamps are adhered with a plant based glue.
