  I am a member of DONA (Doulas of North America), the HypnoBirthing® Institute and San Diego Birth Network. San Diego Birth Network is a group of dedicated professionals who support mothers, babies and families during the prenatal, birth and post partum period. People often ask me, "What does a doula do?" I always answer, "A doula mothers the mother." A doula provides continuous informational, physical and emotional support before, during, and right after birth.
