  By early July, I'll have bushels of heirloom tomatoes for sale. These are organically grown, but have opted not to certify this year, as I'm growing less than an acre, but expect high production. I'm an organic consultant and work with producers of organic products. I've complied with all the regulations of the National Organic Program, but have opted not to spend the $ to certify. Growing 4 large varieties: 1. Soldacki- large red (up to one lb), sweet, outstanding flavor. 2. Sheboygan- large pink/red roma type - good for salsa, sauce - meaty. 3. Black Krim - 4-5" large blackish purple - full flavor. 4. Moonglow- med. bright orange w/ few seeds, won best tasting heirloom at SSE. Growing 3 types of cherry tomatoes: 1. Fruity Cherry - bright red, 3/4 in. round w/ dense rich flesh and well-rounded flavor. 2. Gold Nugget - yellow/gold - unusually rich, smooth flavor. 3. Black Cherry - black/purple - incredibly sweet, fruity flavor. All 3 cherries make a great presentation.
