  The Humane Society of Missouri is committed to the prevention of cruelty, abuse and neglect of animals in St. Louis and the state of Missouri through its adoption centers, veterinary medical centers and large-animal rehabilitation center; rescue and investigation units-St.Louis and statewide divisions; and community outreach and humane education programs. Our Longmeadow Rescue Ranch is 165 acres located southwest of Union, Missouri. All types of horses and farm type animals (cows, pigs, potbellied pigs, goats, sheep, fowl and some exotic animals) are rehabilitated and adopted into caring homes.
