  Birth is a spiritual experience, yet so many miss out on the beautiful birth they could have because of lack of knowledge and/or lack of support. My goal is to help families obtain the safest, most rewarding birth experience possible, enable baby to have a gentle entrance into our world and facilitate breastfeeding and bonding for the whole family. In my classes, I teach moms how to work with their bodies, coaches how to truly support and help their partners and them both to work together. In a bonus class at the end of the series, I teach breastfeeding basics. As a birth doula, I support the family. This may mean remaining somewhat in the background for a family whose desire is for Dad to do most of the support, or it may mean taking a more active role if Dad prefers to just focus on loving on his wife and not carry the additional responsibility of providing comfort and guidance. I teach classes and provide doula services in Sacramento and Placer Counties. I do offer a package discount.
