  I have been a Rochester area birth doula since 2002, and am certified through DONA International. I believe all women have the strength, courage, and heart to give birth naturally but understand that we all come to birth with experiences that impact our confidence, my role is to build your confidence and strength so you can have the kind of birth you want. I attend women birthing at home as well as in hospital. I am certified as a lactation counselor and have been helping moms with breastfeeding since 2000. I offer my birthing clients postpartum doula care, breastfeeding counseling,pregnancy massage, and private childbirth classes. I teach cloth diapering. I have a special interest in helping women and families going through an adoption process. As a mother of 4 I've given birth naturally myself (at home and hospital) and believe in your ability to accomplish this amazing journey called birth that carries us to one of the most profound roles we will have in life: motherhood.
