  What is Beachstone? Beachstone is Maine's first recycled glass and seashell countertop product manufacturer. Why Beachstone? Beachstone is a highly recycled content product (85% by weight) which helps divert post consumer glass and pre-consumer seashells from landfill deposits. It is locally made from local supplies with local labor. Beachstone is good for the environment because we avoid wasteful use of water in the polishing process. In fact, Beachstone uses less water per day than a normal household. Our facility is day lit and highly insulated resulting in a big reduction in energy use.
