  My birth doula services include 24/7 on-call availability until the birth, items for loan, 1-2 prenatal visits to discuss what you wish, and of course support through the labor, birth, and immediate postpartum period, as well as a postpartum visit about two weeks after the birth to present your personal birth story that I have written, to discuss the birth, and to check on how things are going these first precious weeks at home together. I believe that each woman will give birth in the best way she can and that her labor and birth are her choice. I am here to help your outcome be an informed, confident, and satisfying one. My postpartum doula services are tailored to the needs of the new mom and her family. My services may include breastfeeding support, newborn care, mother care, helping mom to rest by entertaining siblings and caring for the new baby, light household chores, basic meal preparation and household organization, among other things. My role is defined by the mother and her partner.
