  21 Acres is a non-profit organization with the mission to cultivate, demonstrate and advance systems that support sustainable agriculture, energy conservation and environmental stewardship though education programs, hands-on training and community outreach. In addition to the farm acreage, the 21 Acres Center showcases a new "green" building slated to open in late 2010, with underground food storage, commercial kitchen, distribution facilities and retail farm market.
