On Sunday, Sept. 21, 2014 the Organic Consumers Association will join the People’s Climate Marchin New York City--expected to be the largest climate march in history.

On Saturday Sept. 20, the Organic Consumers Association is hosting a track of workshops at the NYC Climate Convergence on topics related to the role organic farming—and organic consumers—can play in reversing climate change.

Workshops will include farmers, scientists, authors, and policy experts from the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements, the National Family Farm Coalition, the Northeast Organic Farming Association, the Quivira Coalition, Biodiversity for a Livable Climate, the Carbon Underground, Carbon Nation, La Via Campesina, CLAC (Latin American Fairtrade Farmers), the Alliance for Food Sovereignty in Africa, AgriLife, Planet-TECH, the Rural Climate Network, the Center for Food Safety, the Democracy Center and the Brooklyn Food Coalition.
